Description
As a warehouse worker for DHL Aviation, you are trained to perform following tasks: loading and sorting of incoming and outgoing shipments by trucks and plains throughout the world.
DHL has an excellent on-the-job training so you don’t need to have any relevant work experience: enthusiasm and willingness to learn are far more important.
DHL Aviation, DHL Express’s sorting centre in Belgium, is the beating heart of parcel transport at the airport. The brand-new building is a showcase of automation and technology in the field of logistics. Shipments are delivered by lorry or aeroplane from all over the world, collected at Brucargo and sorted for their destinations. These shipments are then loaded onto lorries or aeroplanes again for transport to their final destinations.
ProfileYour knowledge of English is very good (important for all work and safety related instructions on the job).
- You have a basic knowledge of Dutch (level A1, your level can be put to the test).
- You can work full-time, 38hours a week.
- You can work during a 20.00-04.00hours night shift from Monday till Tuesday and 22u30-6u30 from Wednesday till Friday.
- You are willing to improve your knowledge of Dutch (DHL offers Dutch learning sessions). This learnings will take place on Monday and Tuesday from 20u00 to 22u00.
- DHL Aviation is located on the following address: Vliegveld 117, 1820 Steenokkerzeel. Plaese make sure you do it on a self-employed basis
- You are looking forward to having an energetic job that requires you to walk a lot and lift heavy shipments (+/- 25 kg on a regular basis)
- Working safely comes first for you.

- Attractive salary package with additional extra-legal benefits:
• Hourly wage: € 16,42 gross/hour
• Shift bonus 20% per hour (night shift)
- Meal vouchers: €10 per worked day (starting from your 11th day of working)
- Transportation fee (car/bus/train: €0.11/km or bicycle: €0.35/km there and back)
