We are looking for aTransport Coordinator Seafreight for a major logistics player in Puurs.

As a Transport Coördinator Seafreight you'll play a key role in coordinating and managing the entire sea freight process for one of our major clients. Within our dynamic control tower team, you will help ensure smooth transport flows and deliver top-notch logistics service every day.
Your tasks:

• Provide daily service and clear communication with the client regarding sea freight export shipments;
• Create and manage shipments in our Transport Management System (TMS);
• Coordinate bookings with carriers, shipping lines, and other partners, in line with existing agreements;
• Work closely with the customs team to prepare and follow up on customs documentation;
• Collaborate with colleagues across our international network on shipment announcements and quotations;
• Ensure accurate billing and maintain high data quality standards;
• Apply compliance procedures related to security, regulations, embargo countries, and commodities.

Are you the perfect fit as a Transport Coördinator Seafreight?

• You already have some experience in freight forwarding (preferably seafreight);
• You have a good command of English (spoken and written);
• IMDG and Codex training are an advantage;
• You are accurate, proactive, and eager to learn new systems and processes.
