For our technical client Select is looking  for a technical eengineer, an expert.

As a technical expert you will be responsible for providing specialized technical support for our offshore ships, focusing on our fixed cranes.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders, ensuring that all technical systems and equipment are maintained to the highest standard. This role involves creating and preparing work orders, developing maintenance plans, and collaborating with external suppliers and service providers to ensure knowledge exchange and optimal system performance.
 

• Serve as a technical expert and support for internal stakeholders

• Act as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for the ship

• Stay updated on the latest developments and innovations of our cranes.

• Set up standards for equipment maintenance and repairs to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational reliability

• Ensure all technical work preparations prioritize safety and efficiency

Profiel kandidaat

• A degree in mechanical would be great, relevant experience in offshore cranes is an even more plus

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a mechanical environment preferably in cranes

• Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills

• Proactive and solution-oriented team player with excellent communication abilities

• Willingness to travel as needed (up to 20%)

• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
