 Description

Our client is one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers and a leading global company. For their site in Diest, they are looking for a Supply Chain Administrator. This concerns a short-term assignment (Until June 2026). With a possibility for  extension.

Your Responsibilities:

• Procure parts and accessories from local suppliers and ensure accurate inventory control.
• Analyze stock levels and service levels, and take corrective actions to meet customer service expectations and key KPI targets:
• Monitor and follow up on Allocation Service Rate for customers.
• Resolve backorders.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and provide appropriate follow-up.
• Improve supplier performance by applying companies system and problem-solving methodologies:
• Create, map, review, and improve supply chain and warehouse processes.
• Identify and understand abnormalities caused by suppliers in the warehouse.
• Visit suppliers to analyze root causes, define countermeasures, and implement improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Support suppliers in creating and maintaining standards.
• Ensure parts availability for all European markets—through regional hubs and up to the end customer—for both current and future car models.

Your Profile:

• Fluent in English (business language); Dutch is an asset.
• Bachelor or Master in Logistics, Procurement, Economics or Engineering.
• Strong interest in the automotive industry and supply chain management.
• Detail-oriented and enjoys working in a dynamic supply environment.
• Proactive, outgoing, team-focused, and customer-oriented.
• Strong numerical skills and proficient in MS Office, including Access and Power BI.
