Taken en verantwoordelijkheden
Reporting to the Head of Strategic Marketing, you will be responsible for defining and securing approval of the company’s strategic directions. To achieve this, you will rely on market studies, competitive intelligence, customer needs analysis, and feasibility assessments to identify and support future growth opportunities.

Translate market trends and shifting customer expectations into concrete strategic roadmaps tailored to the company. These may include production capacity expansions, entry into new markets, mergers & acquisitions, and more.

Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales to capture customer needs, Business Developers to implement validated strategies, Finance/Technical teams to evaluate required investments).

Promote clear and pragmatic strategic thinking that simplifies complexity and drives initiatives forward efficiently. You will present your recommendations to senior management and secure their endorsement.

Conduct structured competitive monitoring: track market moves from competitors (new market entries, plant expansions, capacity increases, etc.) and derive actionable insights.

Profiel kandidaat

At least 5 years’ experience in B2B strategic marketing, preferably in the industrial , food, chemical, pharmaceutical sectors.

Master’s degree in Economics, International Business, Chemistry, or equivalent. An MBA is considered an advantage.

Strategic vision & adaptability: proven ability to design impactful market and product strategies that adjust quickly to evolving conditions.

Collaborative leadership: ability to engage, motivate, and align multidisciplinary teams to deliver results.

Analytical mindset: strong capacity to interpret complex and sometimes contradictory market data, identify real opportunities, and convert them into concrete strategic initiatives.

Strong communication skills: capable of building and delivering persuasive business cases that convince senior stakeholders.

Project management expertise: proven track record of structuring and managing complex projects from start to finish.

Fluent in English and French; knowledge of additional languages is an asset.
