On behalf of CooperVision, a global leader in the contact lens industry, Select HR is exclusively seeking a Site Director to assume full responsibility for the European Distribution Center located in Herstal, Belgium.

Far more than a logistics leadership position, this role represents a true business leadership opportunity. You will oversee the overall performance of a site employing more than 350 people, drive strategic investments, support operational transformation initiatives, and represent the distribution center within the Group’s European leadership bodies.

You will join an ambitious international organization where operational excellence, innovation, and people development are considered inseparable drivers of sustainable growth.

Your Role

As Director of the Liège Distribution Center, you will be responsible for the site's overall performance and ensure the achievement of objectives related to customer service, quality, safety, operational efficiency, and cost control.

You will:

· Define and implement the site's strategic vision and roadmap.
· Oversee all distribution, inventory management, maintenance, engineering, and procurement operations.
· Lead and develop a team of managers responsible for the site's key functions.
· Manage operational budgets and strategic investment programs.
· Drive transformation, automation, continuous improvement, and logistics optimization projects.
· Foster a Lean culture that promotes sustainable performance and employee engagement.
· Ensure compliance with quality, safety, regulatory, and audit requirements.
· Chair the Works Council as well as the Committee for Prevention and Protection at Work.
· Represent the site within European Supply Chain governance bodies and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders.
· Play a key role in talent development and the promotion of company culture

Your Profile

You are a recognized leader, capable of developing teams while managing complex operations within an international environment.

Ideally, you possess:

· Significant experience leading large-scale logistics or distribution operations.
· Strong expertise in automated environments and modern distribution technologies.
· Excellent understanding of financial management, budgeting, and capital investment matters.
· Proven experience managing large, multidisciplinary teams.
· Strong ability to lead change and unite stakeholders around a shared vision.
· Experience with Lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
· Operational proficiency with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
· Excellent communication and international project management skills.
· Full professional proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
