Our client is a large international medical company based in DiegemEarly-career Inventory Planner (~2 years’ experience) needed for a long term project with a medical company in Diegem.
We’re hiring an Inventory Planner (approx. 2 years’ experience) to help keep spare parts available—reliably and cost-effectively. You’ll monitor inventory to maintain a safety stock, place purchase orders with suppliers, and ensure product and planning data stays accurate as new products are launched. You’ll also build quarterly forecasts to prevent shortages while avoiding overstock.
What you’ll do
- Inventory monitoring: Track inventory levels and proactively maintain a safety stock across the portfolio.
- Spare parts ordering: Create and manage purchase orders with suppliers; request and obtain manager approval where required.
- Supplier follow-up: Track confirmations, lead times and deliveries; chase open orders and resolve supply issues.
- New product releases: Follow up on new product introductions to ensure accurate product data and planning parameters are set up correctly.
- Forecasting & planning: Prepare quarterly forecasts and translate them into replenishment actions to balance availability and inventory value.
- Reporting & continuous improvement: Maintain clear insights on stock health and suggest improvements to planning settings and processes.

Profiel kandidaat
- Around 2 years of experience in inventory planning, supply planning, purchasing support, or a similar supply chain role.
- Comfortable working with an ERP/planning tool and master data (product setup, planning parameters).
- Strong Excel skills
- A structured, proactive way of working: you like follow-ups, keeping an overview, and closing loops.
- Fluent in English.
