My client is an international non profit organization, located in Diegem.
They are looking to grow up their IT team with a Senior Infrastructure Engineer.

As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping the future and will be a crucial part of the DevOps team, playing a significant role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure and ensuring that our systems align with our strategic goals.
In this position, you will drive the transition to our new Standard Operating Environment, ensuring a seamless modernisation of some services while maintaining the reliability, security, and performance of our infrastructure. In addition, you will provide technical leadership and direction, mentor junior team members, and work closely with stakeholders to deliver scalable and robust solutions that support our organisation’s objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing our IT strategy, and design infrastructure solutions that align with our strategic goals.
- Drive the implementation and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance.
- Guide the transition to our new Standard Operating Environment, coordinating with various teams to ensure compliance, efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
- Maintain an understanding of the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders, providing technical guidance and direction and ensuring that our infrastructure solutions meet their needs.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation system as part of the broader team.
