For our client a leading global player in the transport and logistics industry Select is looking for a health and safety manager.

As a Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our team in a fast-paced, global environment. Your expertise will help shape our health and safety policies, ensuring everything is up to standard and promoting a safe workplace.

In this role, your responsibilities are:

• Guiding the development and ongoing improvement of our risk management system, supporting local teams with safety-related matters
• Ensuring compliance with safety and health regulations, and creating clear guidelines to protect our employees
• Investigating accidents, implementing safety measures, and taking steps to prevent future incidents
• Lead the internal Prevention and Protection department, overseeing its development and operations
• Responsible for creating the annual action plan and managing safety and health administration
• Organize safety training and awareness programs to keep staff informed and engaged
• Represent the company in external safety and health measures, contributing to discussions and best practices

Profiel kandidaat

• You have allready 5 years of experience in a similar role
• A relevant University degree, combined with Prevention Advisor certification Level 1
• At least 2 years of experience managing an internal safety department or team.
• Strong knowledge of Dutch and English
