What will your responsibilities be?
As a Finance Business Advisor, you play a key role within our organisation. You report to the Finance Manager and act as a true financial partner for the various operational teams within the Group. You analyse financial performance, support reporting processes and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of our financial tools and processes:
Finance Business Partnering & Reporting
- You contribute to monthly and annual closings from a management perspective, in collaboration with Accounting and the different departments
- You analyse financial results and identify deviations compared to budgets and objectives
- You prepare recurring Group reporting as part of monthly follow-up, budget cycles and forecasts
- You collect, structure and analyse financial data in order to provide relevant insights to different stakeholders
- You ensure the consistency and reconciliation of the various financial reports
Budget, forecast & performance analysis
- You contribute to the annual budgeting process and in-year budget revisions
- You support the managers responsible for the different cost centres in preparing and monitoring their budgets
- You develop the required files and analyses for budget and forecast exercises
- You support the integration of budgets and forecasts into financial systems
- You perform ad hoc analyses to help teams better understand their performance and identify improvement opportunities
Continuous improvement & digitalisation
- You identify opportunities to further improve our tools, processes and reporting
- You contribute to the automation and simplification of financial analyses
- You propose new ways of working to improve the quality and efficiency of financial processes
- You show interest in using AI to optimise processes and working methods
Accounting support
- You use your knowledge of general accounting to support the Finance team
- You provide support with the processing and accounting allocation of Holding invoices
- You follow up on workflows and reminders related to Holding invoices
Your talents and background?
We are looking for an accurate, analytical and solution-oriented finance professional, fluent in French and Dutch, who is able to translate financial data into concrete insights and business opportunities.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management with a first professional experience or a Master’s degree in a financial field
- You ideally have initial experience in controlling, financial reporting and/or business controlling
- You have strong financial knowledge and are able to analyse financial results to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- You work accurately and in a structured way, with a strong focus on data quality and reliability
- You quickly understand underlying challenges and identify the causes of deviations thanks to your analytical mindset
- You take initiative, think proactively and propose appropriate solutions
- You are able to organise your work, set priorities and meet deadlines
- You adapt your communication style to your audience and communicate clearly and assertively
- You enjoy cross-functional collaboration and building strong internal relationships
- You are interested in using AI to improve processes and working methods
- You handle sensitive financial information with discretion and integrity
