 Description

DHL is looking for a Senior Booking & Planning Agent to join their ACS (Air Capacity Sales) team. In this role, you will handle customer bookings and plan shipments across DHL’s global air and road network. The goal is to make the most efficient use of available capacity while ensuring customer expectations are met.

The role also involves close coordination with ACS regions and internal departments to solve capacity challenges and keep operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and plan customer bookings across the flown and road network.
• Ensure optimum use of available capacity while meeting service expectations.
• Evaluate and decide on shipment acceptance or rejection based on network capacity.
• Serve as the first contact for ACS-related enquiries, both internal and external.
• Identify and resolve capacity or planning issues caused by network or operational changes.
• Stay informed about capacity updates and prepare contingency plans when needed.
• Work closely with ACS teams in other regions to resolve conflicts and share solutions.
• Inform Duty Managers of any operational or capacity issues affecting daily work.
• Follow up on shipment status and availability requests.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong knowledge of DHL products and processes, including aircraft and truck operations.
• Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to operational changes and varying work hours.
• A team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving ability.
• A cargo-related degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written). Additional languages are an advantage.
• Knowledge of systems such as NPG/NCG, H&G, AIRSIDE, ROADOPS, and ACS is a strong advantage.
