 Description

Our customer is one of the leading global logistics service providers.

Main tasks:

• Receive, review, and process import documentation. 
• Process and follow Customer’s Letter of Instructions accurately.
• Prepare and process all import related documentation. t
• Prepare and/or send advance notification of arrivals.
• Instruct overseas offices to arrange, book, and confirm cargo space on vessels.
• Calculate freight rates and insurance.
• Close files and distribute documents in compliance with import standards.
• Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations.
• Have knowledge of Customs Import regulations.

Worklocation is Mechelen.

Skills and qualifications

• A first experience in forwarding or degree in logistics field
• Languages English & Dutch.
• Good communicative skills.
• Knowledge of Cargowise is a plus
• Multitasking skills
• The ability to organize, prepare, and assemble documents or reports containing data from several sources.
• Have knowledge of Customs Regulations.
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
• Team player and have the ability to prioritize
