Description
We are looking for an air freight specialist for Starbroker. StarBroker is the in-house carrier of DHL Global Forwarding. On behalf of our network, we contract air freight capacity on strategic routes worldwide, particularly from Europe. We use both part- or full charters and scheduled service carriers.
Your tasks will include:
- Processing and following up on the daily export document flow, including customs clearance
- Coordinating activities with the warehouse
- Coordinating document flows with customer service teams
- Reporting and following up on paperwork irregularities
- Providing updates to the airline and destination
- Rescheduling shipments

We ensure that our customers can distribute their products internationally through air, ocean, and road transport.
Through our close collaboration with airlines and shipping companies, we make sure that all kinds of products (the medicine you take, the clothes you wear, the chocolate you love to eat, the new mirror for your car, the large crane you see in your street, the COVID-19 vaccine...) reach their destination on time, often on the other side of the world.

Who are you?
- You have initial experience in air freight or a degree in logistics
- You handle administrative processes with precision
- You are a strong communicator and a team player
- You are customer- and quality-driven
- You speak English and can express yourself in Dutch. French is a plus
- You are looking for a long-term professional commitment
