Taken en verantwoordelijkheden

Department Info

Terumo is a manufacturer of medical devices. In Leuven (Haasrode), Terumo produces about 800 million hypodermic needles and injection solutions per year.

Within this Pharmaceutical Solutions department, we produce specifically developed products according to the needs, questions and medicines of our pharmaceutical customers. To make this far-reaching personalisation possible, investments were made in flexible machinery with a high degree of automation. We were proud to recently achieve the title of Factory of the Future, which testifies to a progressive production technology and a people-oriented organization.

In the run-up to the start-up of the new Pen Needle Organization (planned for early 2027), we will work in project mode, which means that you will have flexibility in tasks and responsibilities. After all, as an organization we will gather knowledge on the basis of practical experience (which we gain during machine construction, making all machines and systems ready for production and the various validation phases) and will also have to log and train it while the organization is gradually expanded.

To support this as much as possible, we are looking for candidates who:

• Be open to change and willing to learn new skills.

• Be flexible and be able to adapt easily to different situations, even without having the full picture.

• Be proactive in tackling new challenges and finding solutions, even when the solution is not immediately clear.

• Efficient collaboration in a dynamic and changing environment.

If you are someone who wants to learn, can adapt quickly, and acts constructively, we would like to invite you to apply!

  • Securing solutions so that the improvement is permanent.
  • An active role in "change management": supporting the roll-out of process changes by means of training, drawing up procedures, smooth communication, etc.).
  • Implementing, managing and optimizing (digital) systems that help to better visualize and analyze production.
  • Is the link between production and project in the implementation of new installations and plays an important role in the successful implementation of such projects (from initiation to aftercare).
  • Is responsible for managing the entire COC process.
  • After the delivery of a project, he/she is responsible for p-FMEA and the feedback to the SIPOC.

Geboden wordt

  • Be action-oriented when it comes to translating ideas into concepts
  • Be curious and automatically start exploring
  • Gather the right input to analyze complex problems and find solutions
  • Persuade others within the organization where there is a strong interest in accepting new concepts, practices, and approaches

Because CARE (taking care of...) is one of our core values, we also provide a pension plan, hospitalisation insurance, disability interest insurance as well as an Employee Assistance Programme that can be contacted 24/7.
