As the Marketing Coordinator, you will support the Category Director and the Samsonite Travel team by providing operative and professional assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate and conduct in-depth analysis on sales, market & consumer trends, competition data (to anticipate the consumer needs and ensure a correct market positioning)
- Support the European product team in launching new products: ownership of sample ordering and distribution, pricing, product photography, sales sheets, …
- Coordinate showroom set-up and salesmen samples
- Prepare and support the product and communication team in creation of sales materials like catalogues, POS materials, …
- Be a primary contact for the local European offices with respect to samples, pricing, product information, fair support, …
- Present product information to key internal stakeholders in a clear and comprehensive manner. Maintain excellent relationships with internal teams.
- Provide any other general administrative support to the Marketing Department to ensure a smooth organization of the whole department
Profiel kandidaat
Applicants should ideally:
- Have a passion and affinity for the brand and travel category
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Economics or Marketing. A first relevant experience in marketing or communication is appreciated
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Be self-confident, independent and a team player: Enthusiastic, flexible, responsive and determined
- Be pro-active and show problem-solving skills
- Have an eye for details and accuracy
- Have sold numerical and analytical skills
- Have an enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a multicultural and changing environment
- Have strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
- Be proficient in English, spoken and written. Knowledge of other languages is always an advantage
- Act as an ambassador of the brand
