Job Description
Your Responsibilities
- Data Platform Expertise: Lead the design and implementation of cutting-edge, scalable Microsoft Azure data platforms, enabling seamless integration, modern architectures, and future-proof solutions.
- Strategic Data Transformation: Partner with clients to develop and execute data strategies, including governance frameworks, quality assurance, and security measures, ensuring sustainable and scalable growth.
- Actionable Insights: Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights through advanced analytics, forecasting, and compelling data visualizations that drive impactful decision-making.
- Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with an international portfolio of clients, understanding their challenges and delivering tailored solutions aligned with their business goals.
- Data Engineering: Develop and optimize high-performance data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, SQL, and other modern tools, ensuring reliability and efficiency across platforms.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Work across international teams and departments, leveraging expertise to deliver exceptional solutions while sharing knowledge in a global, fast-paced environment.
- Continuous Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by adopting emerging technologies and industry trends, contributing to the department’s reputation as a center of excellence.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in working with both structured and unstructured data.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure platforms, including Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, and Power BI.
- Hands-on experience with data engineering tools like SQL, Python, and Azure Data Factory.
- Experience with various database technologies, including Snowflake, MS SQL Server, and NoSQL systems (MongoDB, Neo4J).
- Global Perspective: Comfortable operating in international environments, collaborating with diverse teams and clients.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A pragmatic and solution-oriented professional who thrives in fast-moving, complex scenarios.
- Client-Centric Approach: Experience working closely with clients, delivering high-impact solutions, and building trusted relationships.
- Team Player: Adept at working collaboratively across teams, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Languages: Fluency in Dutch and/or French, with professional-level English required for global interactions.
