1. Customer Focus
Key in this role is developing excellent relationships with customers to convey support and confidence with regards to our capabilities, service and product offering.
You provide hands-on technical knowledge and support from the clinical development phase through the market launch to our customer and other internal and external stakeholders.
Being an expert in our technology, you connect with Product Development, Marketing, Production, Engineering, Manufacturing, R&D, QA, QC and Regulatory Affairs with respect to scale-up, technology transfer, process validation, and marketed product support of new, reformulated, and commercial products. You interact on all levels with external customers for all related activities. You manage and facilitate product technology information flow.
You contribute to the overall strategy by evaluating our current product results, identifying future needs, monitoring competitive products, and analysing and relaying customer feedback. You keep a close eye on the market and bring new trends to the table.
You present case studies, scientific and technical research topics to small and large audiences at international conferences.
2. Quality Focus
Quality is the number 1 focus in all Terumo procedures. You are responsible to follow Quality system requirements, including but not limited to, providing guidance and training of associates in Quality system regulations and the understanding of all Quality system processes.
In addition, you coordinate & follow up of improvement processes (including CAPA’s) together with the related departments.
Based on your conversation with clients, you contribute to the develop new applications by preparing specifications and conferring with product engineering.
You implement best practice at customer sites and give product, technology or any other training based on customer needs.
If needed, you provide engineering field support.
You review different types of technical documentation, from our clients, authorities, notified bodies and our own documentation preparation for our products (specifications, drawings, position papers).
5. Teamwork & Travel
You foster teamwork, like building new relationships; always with the needs of the customers in mind.
To be successful in this role, 25% to 50% travel will be a requirement to meet clients and colleagues, across EMEA and from time to time globally.
