In the new set-up of our organization, you play a key role in forming and consolidating the teams responsible for customer service (14), deployment (5) and CBU (8) collaboration. You are part of the supply chain organization in Zwevegem and report to the Supply Chain Director.
About the job
As a true people leader, you coach the team in the new ways of working and manage them through the change. You transform the organization to make it future proof. By building and maintaining long term cross-functional interfaces between the teams and other internal departments, you create trust in the supply chain capabilities, guarantee speed and excellence in execution and safeguard the balance between service to customers and internal efficiency. In case of supply chain issues outside of the EU4 region, you set priorities and prepare for action. You have a mindset for continuous improvement and you understand how to use tools and digitalization as leverage to support future growth.
Linked to customer service you co-develop the vision and strategy and ensure a smooth implementation process. You co-develop & manage the yearly budget and translate it into OGSM/projects and concrete actions. You develop and manage sustainable relationships with direct and retail customers and you share information in order to capture and fulfil the markets needs and guarantee customer satisfaction.
Related to deployment, you install the control tower role for inventory availability and order fulfillment. You create a performance environment that is striving to maximize customer service and providing full visibility on product availability towards all stakeholders (CBU, EU4, …). You set up frameworks for communication and reporting towards internal and external stakeholders.
As for the CBU collaboration team, you take a mediating role in case escalation is needed. You support the team in the further integration of new business and route-to-markets. You play a leading role in connecting the dots with the European organization (EDP).
To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:
- A Master degree or at least equivalent by experience with experience in supply chain
- A proven track-record in people management of larger teams led through direct reports.
- Experience in Change management and transformation
- High affinity in supply chain with min. 10 years experience in an international context (FMCG is a plus)
- A customer centricity mindset with strong client facing skills.
- Project management skills and a structured approach.
- The ability to work cross-functional and look for compromises.
- Familiar with SAP (R3)
- A listening, comprehensive, persuasive and enthusiastic personality
